The Lennox & Addington Stewardship Council and partners invite you to join us for the Little Forests Presentation.

We are planning to create a Little Forest in Napanee this year; come and find out all the dirt!

Presentation by Little Forests Kingston, featuring
Joyce Hostyn: Master Gardener & Josh Cowan: Little Forests Coordinator
Monday, March 4 from 1 to 3 pm

A Little Forest is a small area of densely packed, fast growing native trees, shrubs and wildflowers.

They give us biodiversity, healthy ecosystems and strong communities.

Joyce and Josh will explain how they have created many Little Forests and their achievements working with their Indigenous communities, schools and many volunteers.

Please register at lastewardship@gmail.com

Free and open to the public. We just wish to know our numbers ahead of the event.  Refreshments will be served.

St. Patrick’s Church Hall, 179 West St. Napanee (Thomas St. entrance)

This way of planting trees can radically speed up the return to biodiversity – above and below ground – which is key to healthy landscapes. It’s a holistic ecosystem approach

December Meeting Dec. 13, 2023

The December meeting is a week early so that it doesn’t conflict with Christmas plans. The meeting will be on Wednesday December 13 at St Patrick’s Parish Hall at 7 pm. This month we will be hands on.Our very own Jane Smith will be leading us in a centerpiece design and build workshop. Bring your own mason jar or 1 litre vase to decorate. All other supplies will be provided. Feel free to bring your own ribbon if you have a themed decorating style at home. It should be a great learning and social evening. I look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday. Have a great day.

From Brad King- President

Have a Very Happy Holiday Season!
